Strategy and UX

As with every project that we work on, we took the client through an extensive company and marketing analysis process, whereby we identified key elements that a new website required. From this, a set of business goals and objectives were created for the website inline with the company’s growth ambitions. A scoping document was then developed and signed-off by the client. This then enabled us to create a wireframe, providing the client with the ability to gain a true feel for what the User experience would be and how the website would look with clickable links to pages. This process ensures there is full understanding of what is to be designed and built and one that we take time over, so as to ensure there is no misunderstanding which can lead to project creep, thereby ensuring costs are firm and fixed prior to design and build.

Design

The design of the website had to be clean and modern, reflecting the client’s brand and personality. The design also needed to provide the opportunity for the User to be able to easily understand the client’s offering at a glance and be able to contact the client at any point whilst viewing the website.

As with any company that works with interiors, capturing the attention of the User through visuals is a key component to gaining interest and getting a conversation started. Therefore, it was critical that the website provided the User with the opportunity to view projects through case studies which included strong static imagery and video, as well as the facility to download case studies and a marketing brochure.

Technology

All of our websites are build using fully responsive technology ensuring that the User experience is consistent, regardless of whether the site is viewed on desktop or a mobile device. Our sites are also built with SEO capabilities to ensure enhanced search engine ranking and to compliment future SEO campaigns. As managing content in-house was an important requirement, the website was built using an expandable CSM system that will support the client’s changing business needs.

Outcomes

The new website has achieved the client’s business goals and objectives; as well as their expectations. The website is attracting a more professional client base and higher value enquiries. The website also epitomises our expertise in combing business-focused solutions with creativity and high-end technology and provides a platform for the client to showcase their strong and beautiful project imagery which is a critical element to attracting new business.
