TT Gillard & Son’s key aim was to portray themselves as a luxury and high quality fit-out manufacturer, by creating an appealing fully responsive website. We used inspirational imagery to showcase their highly skilled craftsmanship in completed projects. The ability to update quickly and easily in-house was essential so a powerful CMS (content management system) was used. To increase traffic and ROI through website enquiries, the website was built with solid SEO foundations. Sector specific pages were used to showcase work; commercial interior fit-out, residential interior fit-out, shopfitting & retail, external joinery & staircase.

After discussing strategy with the client, it was clear that visuals were key for this project. The website needed to appeal to their current clientele, so we researched relevant businesses and created a style that would resonate with them. To achieve a seamless experience for the end user, we defined the website architecture and user flow. It needed to be engaging and user friendly so each page was wireframed to define UX and UI. As a high percentage of people accessed the site through a mobile device, it was important that the website was fully responsive and provided optimum user experience irrespective of the device used.
We wanted to showcase their highly skilled craftsmanship so strong, inspirational imagery of high-end projects were used to deliver impact on the homepage. The website had to engage the client’s target market, as well as the professional companies they work with, so the design needed to appeal to multiple audiences. TT Gillard & Son’s high calibre of clients were shown as logos rather than images of specific projects, for the discretion of selected clients and projects.
